Putting Pinole First

My vision is to build on Pinole's charm and character. Government should always be working for its people, and my goal is to ensure the city can provide the best possible services for its residents. My plan for Pinole puts residents first because I prioritize infrastructure, public safety, and economic development. I am personally invested in Pinole because it is the place I call home.

Public Safety for All

Comprehensive public safety for all does not mean just police and fire. It means ensuring that every resident feels safe in our City. ​

​

  • Ensuring prompt response times across the city for police and fire emergencies.

  • Work with regional leaders on holistic public safety strategies for West County.

  • Work with fire agencies and wildfire coalitions to help mitigate the risk of a devastating fire through Pinole Valley.

Keeping Pinole Beautiful

Our City is in need of infrastructure improvements, and we need innovative strategies to help address these improvements across the city.

  • Working with the city for a long-term plan for paving roads across the city, including main and smaller roads.  

  • Maintaining high-quality parks for our residents and visitors to enjoy.

  • Working with our regional leaders to secure funding for larger infrastructure projects in Pinole.

  • Reevaluating the city's current infrastructure and methods to use them to the city’s advantage

Revitalizing our City's Economy

Pinole has served as a shopping and dining hub for the region. The city should continue to support its businesses to help the local economy.

​

  • Promote available spaces in the city for redevelopment, including the Appian 80 Shopping Center.

    • As a Planning Commissioner, I led an effort to craft recommendations to the City Council for mixed-use residential, community space, and retail at the site.

  • Help promote small and local businesses to operate in Pinole. 

  • Partner with local and community leaders to attract economic activity for Pinole and increase revenues.

  • Work with the City to host more events to boost the local economy when possible.
